EHS Lead - Grid Technologies

Location: Jeddah, Makkah al Mukarramah, Saudi Arabia

What you will do

• Develop and lead the EHS strategy for Grid Technologies Service operations in Saudi Arabia.
• Oversee EHS execution across project sites and field service activities, including electrical work, high-voltage switching, lifting, confined-space entry, and work at height.
• Ensure safe working conditions across offices, workshops, and warehouses, including emergency preparedness, fire protection, and occupational health programs.
• Build a proactive Zero Harm culture through coaching, safety campaigns, behavioral safety initiatives, and field engagement.
• Design and deliver EHS training and competency programs for employees and contractors.
• Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, audits, regulatory inspections, and performance reporting while managing three EHS professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive EHS experience in industrial, energy, utilities, construction, or service operations.
• Experience leading EHS teams and managing performance across multiple sites simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian EHS regulations and international best practices.
• Experience with high-risk field activities and technical environments such as transmission, substations, GIS, transformers, or power generation.

Nice to have

• Professional EHS certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or CSP.
