EHS & Ergonomics Specialist

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, safety, and ergonomics policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, ergonomic assessments, and industrial hygiene activities.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver safety and ergonomics training for employees, new hires, management, and leadership.
• Track KPIs and injury trends, prepare leadership reports, and support continuous improvement, sustainability, and waste-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, HR, supervisors, employees, and safety committees to design safer work environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in safety, ergonomics, or a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ergonomic principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to support multiple shifts as needed and work legally in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
