Systems Operations Support Analyst

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States. Expected hours are Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm EST, with every other weekend on call. The first month is 9am-5pm EST for training.

Expected pay range: $85,000-$100,000 per year.

What you will do

• Monitor fulfillment systems, integrations, and operational workflows during scheduled off-hours.
• Respond to production alerts and support requests, triage incidents, and resolve issues using established runbooks.
• Investigate failures across application logs, databases, APIs, and application code to determine root cause.
• Document incidents, findings, and resolutions, and escalate high-severity issues with clear impact assessments and recommended next steps.
• Develop and maintain small Python scripts, automation tools, low-risk enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Improve runbooks, identify recurring operational issues, and partner with engineering teams on reliability and monitoring.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering or systems support, including WMS or OMS environments.
• Experience supporting fulfillment, warehouse, and supply chain systems and processes.
• Intermediate Python and SQL skills, plus experience working with JSON APIs.
• Experience troubleshooting production applications using logs, databases, and application code.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; availability for the specified EST schedule and US-based remote work required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.

Hiring process

• The role includes an initial one-month training schedule from 9am-5pm EST before transitioning to scheduled off-hours coverage.
