Financial Analyst

What you will do

• Prepare, process, and validate financial and project data for subsidy management.
• Prepare data for cash requests covering designated cost categories.
• Support accounting activities for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements related to funded projects.
• Prepare internal close reporting and financial analyses for the Dresden Subsidies Team.
• Support audit documentation, internal controls, and continuous improvements to reporting processes and data structures.
• Collaborate with the Dresden team and cross-functional departments across multiple regions.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
• Experience in finance, accounting, controlling, or data analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent German, written and spoken, is required.
• Strong English communication skills are required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and the ability to work independently in an international team.
