Sr Manager Program Manager - Insurance

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end programme and service delivery across application development, transformation, modernization, and managed services engagements.
• Act as the primary client contact, managing stakeholder relationships, expectations, risks, issues, escalations, steering committees, and governance forums.
• Coordinate account teams, architects, technical leads, project managers, business analysts, and distributed delivery teams.
• Drive programme governance, planning, resource management, financial tracking, delivery metrics, and performance reporting.
• Oversee application implementation, testing, integration, deployment, transition, SDLC compliance, and quality governance across multiple workstreams.
• Support solutioning, proposals, estimation, delivery planning, process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives while developing high-performing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven programme, project, or service delivery leadership experience in the insurance industry, IT services, or a system integrator environment.
• Experience managing large-scale application development, transformation, modernization, or managed services programmes.
• Strong experience with executive communication, client stakeholder management, delivery governance, budgets, programme financials, resource planning, and delivery metrics.
• Experience leading geographically distributed, cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SDLC, agile and waterfall methodologies, application delivery frameworks, and insurance platforms or processes such as policy administration, claims, and underwriting.

Nice to have

• Insurance domain expertise and experience with digital transformation initiatives.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent programme management certification.
• Experience with global delivery models, including offshore and distributed teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance customer satisfaction, delivery excellence, and business outcomes.
