TL;DR
Complex Program Manageger (IT Transformation): Leading large-scale technology transformation programs for financial services, insurance, and manufacturing organizations with an accent on program governance, executive stakeholder management, risk control, and financial performance. Focus on coordinating interconnected workstreams, global delivery teams, multiple vendors, and multidisciplinary teams across infrastructure, cloud, applications, digital workplace, security, and enterprise transformation.
Location: Tokyo, Japan; hybrid working model with a Tokyo office base, customer visits approximately 1–2 times per week, remote work available, and domestic travel depending on project requirements.

What you will do
- Lead large-scale, mission-critical technology transformation programs and complex projects.
- Define program vision, objectives, roadmaps, and success measures while managing interconnected projects and workstreams.
- Establish program governance, lead steering committees and executive reviews, and manage cross-project risks, issues, escalations, and decisions.
- Align business objectives with delivery execution and build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, executive sponsors, customers, and global delivery teams.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, profitability, financial performance, and delivery commitments.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams of up to more than 300 professionals, coach project managers, and coordinate global and offshore delivery teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading large-scale IT projects or programs, including delivery experience in Financial Services, Insurance, or Manufacturing.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, project interdependencies, program delivery, governance, and risk.
- Experience managing financial performance and delivery outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including work with executive stakeholders.
- Experience working with global teams and coordinating international delivery organizations.
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English is required.

- Infrastructure or cloud transformation experience.
- Managed services transition experience.
- Global delivery or offshore management experience.
- PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
