Software Developer in Automation (TIA Portal)

Location: Remote only from Romania; occasional travel abroad may be required.

What you will do

• Develop high-quality automation software in TIA Portal.
• Design HMI process screens using SCADA systems such as WinCC and Ignition.
• Create and maintain design documentation and user interfaces in Figma.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systems.
• Train and support end-users, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in automation, computer science, electronic engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience developing automation systems.
• Strong PLC programming skills, particularly with TIA Portal and the S7-1500 series.
• Good understanding of PLC library development and basic knowledge of HMI systems.
• Professional English proficiency required for collaboration within an international development team.
