Engineering Technician I (Nights) (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, Texas, with the role based at the Burnet site; onsite night shift

What you will do

• Start, monitor, and troubleshoot purification systems.
• Decontaminate manufacturing equipment and perform sampling, filling, and inspection of final products.
• Collect chemistry samples and submit them to the laboratory for analysis.
• Maintain laboratory operations, including preventive maintenance, supply ordering, cleanup, and waste disposal.
• Support on-time delivery of high-volume products from manufacturing through shipping.
• Propose and implement improvements to productivity, cost, and safety.

Requirements

• 0–1 years of experience in a technical field such as chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of decontamination, valve building, harvesting, filling, and morph solids.
• Good communication, training, troubleshooting, and process-following skills.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lb and push up to 130 lb.
• Ability to work a 3-2-2-3 night rotation from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. after training and certification.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field.
• Previous chemical handling or manufacturing experience.
• Inventory management knowledge and SAP experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45000.
