EHS Manager

Location: Office/site only in Vejle, Denmark, Tallinn, Estonia, Riga, Latvia, or Vilnius, Lithuania.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures aligned with local legislation and hirify.global requirements.
• Conduct workplace inspections and safety audits across service operations in the Nordic region.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations, perform root cause analyses, and track corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training and support competency development across the organization.
• Act as the primary EHS contact for internal stakeholders and external authorities, integrating EHS requirements into operations and project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant EHS management experience in industrial, energy, engineering, construction, or field service environments.
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, risk management, and incident investigation methodologies.
• Experience working in high-risk environments.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or NEBOSH Diploma certification.
