Quality Engineer / Manager (Defense)

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management system in line with ISO 9001, AS9100, and applicable regulations.
• Lead internal and external quality audits and drive continuous improvement based on audit findings.
• Monitor quality KPIs, analyze trends and root causes, and manage non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, supply chain, and project management throughout the product lifecycle.
• Deliver quality training and build a strong quality culture across the organization.
• Manage and mentor quality professionals and act as the quality contact for customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
• 8–10 years of quality management experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in complex, regulated environments such as defense, aerospace, or high-tech manufacturing.
• Hands-on expertise implementing and improving ISO 9001 and AS9100-compliant systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and risk management skills.
• Ability to obtain security clearance from the Danish Defence Intelligence Service, including at least 7 years of residency within NATO/EU.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CQM/OE or Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
