Senior Manager, Global Sustainability

Location: Billund hirify.global Campus, Denmark. Hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office. Relocation support is not offered.

What you will do

• Influence technology choices and machine design to reduce carbon, energy, water, and waste impacts from the outset.
• Set sustainability performance criteria across technology platforms and develop roadmaps for efficient equipment and processes.
• Build feedback loops between manufacturing data and design teams to improve future equipment specifications.
• Define governance, ownership, and decision rights for sustainable design across equipment design and manufacturing.
• Partner with equipment suppliers to identify emerging sustainability technologies and integrate them into equipment technology roadmaps.
• Connect Sustainability with R&D and Technology teams and drive effective collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental studies, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience guiding sustainability projects in global manufacturing or operations environments.
• Experience delivering projects in manufacturing and/or engineering settings.
• Ability to prepare clear communication materials for senior leaders and technical partners.
• Understanding of Science Based Targets and emerging energy technologies for production.
• Experience with change management and stakeholder influence in a matrix organization.

Nice to have

• Master of Business Administration.
• Advanced English for international collaboration.
• Experience researching and designing moulding and packaging machinery.
