IMDS Specialist (Automotive)

Location: Tallinn, Estonia

Salary: €3,500–€5,000 per month

What you will do

• Track PPAP activities across multiple projects and ensure material data sheets are ready for customer submissions.
• Create, validate, and submit IMDS records for products, components, and assemblies.
• Review supplier IMDS data, resolve missing or incorrect information, and support troubleshooting.
• Verify compliance with RoHS, REACH, ELV, TSCA, GADSL, Conflict Minerals requirements, and OEM specifications.
• Act as the main contact for IMDS and environmental compliance while collaborating with suppliers, buyers, project teams, account managers, and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5+ years of experience with IMDS or comparable materials declaration systems and product or environmental compliance.
• Working knowledge of RoHS, REACH including SVHC and SCIP, ELV, and other regional chemical and product regulations.
• Experience with BOM and PLM systems and complex material and compliance data.
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with attention to detail.
• Business English communication skills required.
