Maintenance Technician (Building Maintenance)

Location: Burnsville, Minnesota, USA. On-site work with local travel between hirify.global residential sites, typically 2–4 locations per day.

Salary: $27.25–$28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Maintain buildings, grounds, and residential properties to keep them safe, functional, and comfortable.
• Perform repairs and remodeling involving electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Coordinate outside contractors with the Maintenance Supervisor when specialized repairs are required.
• Prioritize multiple maintenance tasks and deadlines across several locations.
• Identify cost-effective and preventative maintenance solutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of building maintenance experience, including heating, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift and carry tools and materials and perform physical repairs throughout the workday.
• Strong decision-making, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
