Director, Treasury & Credit Risk

Location: Los Angeles HQ; onsite

Salary: $190,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee global cash management, liquidity optimization, investments, forecasting, and retail cash operations.
• Build treasury infrastructure for new international markets, including banking setup, intercompany funding, and repatriation strategies.
• Manage banking relationships, treasury management systems, payment platforms, reporting tools, policies, controls, and process automation.
• Monitor debt, covenants, financing strategies, foreign exchange exposure, hedging, interest rate exposure, VAT considerations, and transaction costs.
• Lead credit risk management, credit limits, customer exposure assessments, and corporate and credit insurance programs.
• Manage brokers, insurance renewals, bank guarantees, letters of credit, counterparty risk, and vendor or supplier risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant treasury experience, preferably in a high-growth or scaling environment.
• Experience building or scaling treasury functions, managing credit and financial risk, and maintaining banking relationships.
• Experience with ERP and treasury management systems; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business strategies and communicate with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
• Strategic, financial, and managerial acumen with the ability to influence and manage change.

Nice to have

• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification.
• Experience in retail or consumer goods, including seasonal cash cycles, inventory dynamics, and store-level operations.
• MBA, CPA, or NetSuite experience.
