FP&A Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Jointly lead significant elements of the annual budget and planning process with the Director of FP&A.
• Own and improve forecasting methodologies, financial models and FP&A processes across revenue, costs, headcount and other business drivers.
• Translate complex business questions into clear financial analysis and decision support for senior stakeholders.
• Partner with business leaders and enforce budget accountability, approval processes and spending discipline.
• Lead FP&A transformation projects using automation, improved data processes and AI.
• Guide and mentor junior colleagues while reviewing project outputs and strengthening team capabilities.

Requirements

• Strong financial modelling capability and deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance management.
• Demonstrated experience independently owning complex financial models and business processes.
• Ability to operate independently, take ownership of outcomes and structure ambiguous problems into clear plans.
• Experience leading complex projects involving multiple contributors and stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and influence decisions beyond the FP&A team.

Nice to have

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or close to qualification.
• Experience in financial services or the payments industry.
• Experience using AI to improve Finance processes.
