Quality Control Technician - Night Shift - Friday to Sunday (6pm - 6am) (Precision Plastics)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; onsite night shift Friday to Sunday, 6pm–6am.

What you will do

• Inspect incoming molded and purchased parts using MicroVu, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.
• Check components for dimensional compliance, surface defects, and conformity with engineering prints and documented standards.
• Record inspection data electronically and prepare quality advisement documentation and reports.
• Communicate inspection status and findings to Tooling, Molding, Quality, QA Engineering, and Supervisory teams.
• Support stock disposition, inventory placement, defect rejection, first article inspections, and root cause investigations.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment and provide quality support to assembly, molding, kitting, and warehouse departments.

Requirements

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or 3–6 months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed part and assembly prints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills and reliable follow-through on assigned tasks.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in engineering or science.
• Experience with MicroVu or other precision measurement equipment.
