Quality Engineer - Weekend Shift (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain quality management systems, inspection procedures, testing workflows, and compliance processes.
• Design, fabricate, and implement custom inspection tooling and fixtures for machined parts.
• Program, set up, and operate CMMs using PC-DMIS or similar software for dimensional and geometric inspections.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using precision measurement equipment.
• Verify conformance with engineering drawings, tolerances, GD&T requirements, and quality standards.
• Document non-conformances, support supplier root cause analysis and corrective actions, and track quality trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably with machined or metal components in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with inspection tools, technical drawings, GD&T, and CMM programming and operation.
• Knowledge of NCR, MRB, RCA, and CAR workflows.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in an inspection lab and manufacturing setting.
