Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

What you will do

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of machined parts and assemblies using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, blueprints, tolerances, and GD&T requirements.
• Document inspection results, identify non-conformances, initiate quarantine procedures, and notify relevant teams.
• Conduct first article inspections and support supplier quality audits for incoming materials.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot inspection equipment to maintain measurement accuracy.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams on issue resolution, trend tracking, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• At least 4 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and technical drawings or blueprints.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and statistical process control.
• Certified Quality Inspector certification from ASQ or a similar organization.
• Experience with CMM programming or automated inspection systems, plus familiarity with NCR, MRB, and corrective action processes.
