Process Technician - Injection Molding - Weekend Shift (Fri - Sun/6pm - 6am)

Location: Hickory, North Carolina, United States. Weekend shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

What you will do

• Support production and engineering projects within the injection molding operation.
• Install and remove molds in injection molding machines.
• Set up, adjust, and optimize molding processes to maintain product quality.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and implement material or process changes.
• Interpret plastic part measurement data and communicate results.
• Maintain processing records and assist with equipment maintenance and product or process qualifications.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in a medium-volume injection molding environment.
• Working knowledge of injection molding processes, machines, materials, and auxiliary equipment.
• Experience installing molds and adjusting processes to resolve quality issues.
• Ability to interpret plastic part measurement data.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in a technical or engineering-related field.
• Experience supporting engineering-driven projects or process qualifications.
• Familiarity with quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
