Senior Lecturer (Level C) Social Work (Field Education Lead)

Location: Primarily based at hirify.global Gold Coast or Logan campuses, with work across other Queensland locations as required. Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Salary: AUD 143,418–165,374 per year plus 17% superannuation; total FTE package AUD 167,799–193,487 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the large field education program across Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work programs.
• Build and manage placement partnerships across health, community, government, and related sectors.
• Coordinate student placement preparation, matching, support, monitoring, and assessment.
• Maintain placement compliance through policies, procedures, records, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide stakeholder guidance and resolve complex placement and student matters.
• Deliver teaching, applied learning, research, and industry partnerships that improve student employability.

Requirements

• Doctoral or master's qualification, or equivalent accreditation and standing with significant professional experience, in Social Work or a related field.
• Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
• At least five years of expertise in one or more applied practice fields, together with field education experience.
• Experience coordinating courses and contributing to program quality and accreditation.
• Strong practice-informed, student-centred teaching skills and excellent interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia are required; visa sponsorship is not available.
