What you will do

• Build, configure, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and auto-scaling runner environments for C++, Python, and Node.js projects.
• Automate release workflows by integrating GitLab, Jira, and Confluence through scripts, webhooks, and APIs.
• Develop Python and Bash extensions for the pi-gov GenAI routing harness with secure, audited LLM routing rules.
• Deploy and scale the Forge simulation and test orchestrator in Azure Gov Cloud.
• Secure Artifactory registries and container builds using BuildKit, secret injection, and Entra ID.
• Migrate legacy build systems to reproducible Nix developer environments and troubleshoot pipeline, registry, and configuration issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Enterprise CI/CD experience with deep expertise in GitLab pipelines and runner infrastructure.
• Hands-on Bash or Python scripting, webhooks and APIs, Docker, multi-stage builds, and package managers such as Conan, Poetry, or Nix.
• Experience managing workloads in cloud environments such as Azure Gov Cloud or AWS.
• Secure software development, secret management, identity providers, Linux administration, networking, and troubleshooting skills.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. SECRET security clearance are required.
