Senior Staff DevOps Engineer (AI Networking)

What you will do

• Own CI/CD for AI/HPC Ethernet switching software, including builds, tests, quality gates, artifacts, and release promotion.
• Scale pipelines across switch SDK, SAI adapters, test frameworks, simulations, and model targets.
• Improve build caching, shared runners, nightlies, release workflows, and multi-repository delivery.
• Operate Linux build and test farms for C/C++ SDKs and Python harnesses, including toolchains, containers, lab hosts, and simulation hosts.
• Manage artifacts, caches, observability, alerts, runbooks, secrets, and access controls.
• Partner with SDK, SAI, QA, and software teams to validate switch behavior and maintain traceable Jira workflows.

Requirements

• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI in multi-repository environments.
• Deep Linux expertise, including shells, packaging, toolchains, native build debugging, and shared-library or SDK load paths.
• Automation experience with Python and Bash, plus enough CMake or Make to support switch-SDK CI.
• Experience with Docker and self-hosted or cloud runners at meaningful scale.
• Proven ability to reduce flaky tests and improve CI signal-to-noise.
• Hands-on Jira experience and clear communication with hardware-adjacent software teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with networking ASICs, switch SDKs, SAI, DPDK, NIC or SmartNIC software.
• Exposure to AI/ML cluster networking, GPU fabrics, RoCE/RDMA, congestion control, or telemetry.
• Experience with simulation or hardware-in-the-loop CI, pytest at scale, build caching, release branching, or static-analysis gates.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, AWS, GCP, Atlassian tools, SBOMs, signing, and branch protection.
