What you will do

  • Maintain accurate drug inventory across cage, floor, and pharmacy automation locations.
  • Document physical inventory movements, remove outdated drugs, and resolve discrepancies with the inventory supervisor.
  • Supervise return-to-stock processes and organize medication disposal and pharmacy package returns in line with applicable regulations.
  • Develop pharmacy automation and inventory management training programs and train pharmacy technicians.
  • Support medication preparation by stocking, labeling, assembling, filling, and transitioning medications through workflow stages.
  • Participate in inventory meetings, year-end preparation, on-site counts, quality initiatives, and pharmacy team activities.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician certification through EXCPT or PTCB.
  • Active Certified Pharmacy Technician registration with the Arizona Board of Pharmacy.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Parata MAX machines.
  • Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations, including Arizona State Board of Pharmacy and FDA requirements.
  • English proficiency required; ability to work the Sunday–Wednesday, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. shift and flexible shift times.
