Commercial Large Placement Specialist

What you will do

• Manage timelines and processes for new business and renewal insurance placements.
• Analyze client exposures and loss data, prepare quote specifications, and develop financial models for loss-sensitive programs.
• Prepare property and casualty submissions, including coverage specifications, ACORD applications, loss summaries, profiles, and exposure schedules.
• Review policies and contracts, identify coverage gaps, and recommend tailored coverage strategies.
• Negotiate coverage terms, rate policies in carrier systems, and prepare and present client proposals.
• Collaborate with Client Advisors, Account Service Teams, carriers, wholesalers, and Risk Resources.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant insurance experience, with an emphasis on middle to large market placements.
• Current Property and Casualty insurance license required.
• Experience with a broker or agent marketing large middle market accounts to carriers and strong knowledge of insurance markets and basic coverages.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, and proposal presentation documents.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, prioritization, adaptability, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience with Epic.
• College degree.
• Pursuit of a professional designation such as CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, or CPCU.
