Senior Electrical Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; on-site

Salary: $115,527–$173,291 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular full-time employees.

What you will do

• Own circuit and subsystem design for X-BAT and support equipment from architecture through manufacturing.
• Design mixed-signal systems involving high-speed digital, FPGA, compute, analog, power regulation, EMI/EMC, and RF.
• Execute vibration, altitude, radiation, thermal, humidity, and other environmental qualification tests.
• Lead system integration, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with mechanical, embedded, software, manufacturing, thermal, reliability, supplier development, and supply-chain teams.
• Lead and mentor teammates and help automate manufacturing test solutions for volume production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience as an electrical engineer.
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and experience contributing to and leading multiple product design cycles involving electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as Altium or equivalent.
• Familiarity with a PLM system such as Arena or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain an S//SAR-level security clearance is desired.
