Engineering Technician T3 (Semiconductor)

Salary: $29.00–$39.60 per hour

What you will do

• Design, test, assemble, fabricate, modify, and troubleshoot electronic and electromechanical systems, prototypes, test equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Diagnose system-level and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical subsystems.
• Perform new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and engineering or manufacturing documentation.
• Compile logbooks and test procedures, assist with procedure development, and generate Quality Notifications.
• Perform rework, help determine remedies for malfunctions, and follow safety and security procedures.

Requirements

• Proficiency in analytical processes and procedures for assigned technical tasks.
• Understanding of how engineering and manufacturing teams integrate to achieve objectives.
• Ability to solve atypical or infrequent problems using established precedents and procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb stairs and ladders, work in tight spaces, and lift as required.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, operate forklifts or other heavy machinery, distinguish colors, and work in noisy environments.
• Ability to use required cleanroom personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
