Accounting Manager (SaaS)

Location: Los Angeles; candidates within a reasonable commute to an office are expected to work onsite at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $133,000–$167,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for assigned general ledger areas.
• Prepare complex journal entries, intercompany transactions, accrued liabilities, equity, and capitalized items.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and flux explanations for FP&A and executive reporting.
• Optimize accounting workflows, reduce manual work, and help shorten the close cycle using hirify.global and automation tools.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR, IT, and operational business units on accounting matters and system changes.
• Maintain SOX controls, prepare audit schedules, support technical accounting projects, and work with internal and external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of progressive general ledger accounting experience, preferably in SaaS, enterprise software, or technology environments.
• Independent experience managing complex close processes and account reconciliations as an individual contributor.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle, plus close management software.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX internal controls, financial statements, advanced Excel, and business intelligence or data warehouse reporting.
• CPA license or CPA candidacy is preferred.

• Big Four or national public accounting experience.
• Experience with hirify.global Reconciliations, Journal Entry, Task Management, or Variance Analysis modules.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects or ERP implementation and enhancement initiatives.
