What you will do

• Read and interpret shop orders, work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation.
• Assemble and finish boiler components involving tubing, insulation, refractory, pipefitting, and painting.
• Operate air tools, power tools, hand tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes safely.
• Inspect work, identify defects, and complete operations within quality and production-time standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing work area.
• Collaborate with production team members and support training and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High-school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read shop orders, work instructions, basic blueprints, and mechanical documentation.
• Ability to use a tape measure and safely operate tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment and follow safety and quality procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move around the manufacturing floor, lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and work from ladders or scaffolding with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Employment eligibility, background checks, drug screening, and required pre-employment testing are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, construction, or industrial production.
• Experience with boiler manufacturing, pipefitting, insulation, refractory installation, painting, or related industrial trades.
• Experience with precision measuring tools, quality inspections, lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement.
