Journey Worker - Pipefitter (Manufacturing)

Salary: $27.00–$55.00 per hour, with potential annual incentive and long-term incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Cut, assemble, install, and join pipes, tubes, fittings, and non-metallic attachments using hand and power tools.
• Inspect piping systems and machinery, identify malfunctions, and operate material movement equipment for pipes and heavy machinery.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, programmers, planners, project managers, customers, and strategic partners.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, including NFPA 70E, toolbox talks, safety audits, and incident reporting.
• Support the team by coaching and mentoring less-experienced employees while maintaining high craftsmanship standards.

Requirements

• Technical experience with pipefitting, blueprint reading, plumbing codes, and trade mathematics.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to climb and work at heights, work in confined spaces, and lift or move heavy objects.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments and all weather conditions.
• Ability to read and write in English, with basic computer and communication skills.
• Availability for a regular 40-hour daytime schedule, flexible hours, overtime, and occasional travel.
