TL;DR
Senior Engineer, Platform Infrastructure (Kubernetes/Terraform): Building and operating the infrastructure platform that deploys and runs customer environments with an accent on infrastructure as code, deployment automation, and platform reliability. Focus on improving Kubernetes systems, testing infrastructure workflows, troubleshooting distributed systems, and increasing observability, security, and recoverability.
Location: On-site in Dallas, Texas or Washington, DC, United States

What you will do
- Build and improve the platform that deploys and operates customer environments.
- Develop infrastructure as code with Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Zarf, Big Bang, Packer, and related tools.
- Improve Kubernetes platforms and deployment automation to reduce risk and manual work.
- Pair with engineers to design, implement, and troubleshoot platform capabilities.
- Write automated tests for infrastructure and deployment workflows.
- Improve observability, reliability, security, recoverability, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Comfortable working across Kubernetes, Linux, networking fundamentals, containers, and distributed-system troubleshooting.
- Experience with Git, trunk-based development, GitLab CI, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Helm, PKI and certificate management, secrets management, observability, and infrastructure testing.
- Ability to learn quickly and become productive in unfamiliar systems.
- Ability to collaborate closely, explain technical reasoning and tradeoffs, and communicate work clearly.
- Must work on-site in Dallas, Texas or Washington, DC.
