Manager, Software Test & Autonomation (R5461)

What you will do

• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of Software Test & Automation Engineers.
• Define verification and validation strategies across simulation, Software-in-the-Loop, Hardware-in-the-Loop, Vehicle-in-the-Loop, and operational test environments.
• Build automated regression testing, validation frameworks, reusable test assets, and test infrastructure.
• Establish software readiness criteria, quality gates, metrics, dashboards, and technical roadmaps.
• Integrate automated validation and continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines with Digital Infrastructure.
• Coordinate readiness activities with software, systems, platform integration, and flight test organizations while presenting risks and status to program and executive leadership.

Requirements

• Experience leading, mentoring, recruiting, and evaluating Software Test & Automation Engineers.
• Experience defining verification and validation strategies and software readiness standards.
• Experience developing automated testing, validation frameworks, and test infrastructure.
• Ability to coordinate engineering priorities, staffing plans, and technical roadmaps across multiple autonomy programs.
• Ability to present software readiness assessments, technical risks, and validation status to senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with autonomous systems, robotics, or unmanned platforms.
• Experience with SonarQube or ROS.
• Experience developing software readiness metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense programs and customer demonstrations.
