Cloud Engineer (M365)

Location: Onsite at a hirify.global office in Carlsbad, California; Tempe, Arizona; or Marlborough, Massachusetts. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a United States Secret Clearance are required.

Salary: $121,000–$191,000 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area, the range is $150,000–$225,000 annually.

What you will do

• Administer, configure, monitor, and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams, in a GCC-H environment.
• Implement security controls and maintain compliance with FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST 800-171, and government requirements.
• Manage support tickets, incidents, patches, service health, performance monitoring, and stakeholder communications.
• Manage B2B services and coordinate integrations between GCC-H and approved commercial clouds and external organizations.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Contribute to cross-departmental projects, audits, evidence collection, and technical reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 in a large-scale environment.
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and information security fundamentals.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST 800-171, and government security compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and scripting for automation, with strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• US Citizenship, eligibility to obtain a United States Secret Clearance, and onsite availability are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in government or high-security environments and with GCC-H deployments.
• Microsoft 365, Azure, or FedRAMP certifications.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS GovCloud, SQL/NoSQL databases, firewalls, VPNs, Active Directory, and Intune.
