RF Engineer Intern (RF)

Location: Lausanne, Switzerland; office-lab based

What you will do

• Design, simulate, and optimize radomes and antenna elements for high-frequency phased-array systems.
• Contribute to the development of satellite communication antenna technologies.
• Develop and test antenna and radome solutions in an anechoic chamber and modern laboratory environment.
• Work with RF, system, hardware, and layout teams to converge on effective technical solutions.
• Participate in projects throughout the full product life cycle and present results to company leaders.

Requirements

• Currently studying in at least the third year of, or have completed, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Available to work full-time for at least six months.
• Student or professional experience working independently and collaboratively in a laboratory environment.
• First experience with RF simulation tools such as HFSS or ADS.
• Familiarity with RF measurement instrumentation and test equipment, including spectrum analyzers.
• Swiss or EU citizenship, or a valid Swiss work permit, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in multidisciplinary student teams involving RF, hardware, and layout.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
