Deputy Project Manager (Cloud Big Data)

Location: Hybrid in Columbia, Maryland, United States, with approximately 3 days per week at the customer site. Schedule requirements may change based on customer needs.

Salary: $82,192–$120,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support leadership and day-to-day management of a cloud big data pilot program.
• Coordinate with the government contracting officer representative, customer stakeholders, and hirify.global management.
• Support program execution, delivery objectives, milestones, schedules, financials, and resource allocation.
• Oversee program personnel, subcontractors, technical tasks, deliverables, and quality of contract performance.
• Lead integration planning and collaborate with technical leads, subcontracts, project control, and personnel security teams.
• Represent company capabilities in customer meetings, trade shows, and conferences, including public speaking.

Requirements

• Current Secret-level U.S. Government security clearance and U.S. citizenship required. Candidates with Top Secret clearance may also be considered.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexity within the Federal Government, with a relevant bachelor's degree; equivalent experience or a master's degree may qualify.
• Experience leading software development or systems engineering teams using agile development or cloud computing technologies.
• Experience supporting or managing complex multitask contracts and subcontracts, including Firm Fixed Price contracts.
• Experience working in a PMO with schedules, program financials, resource allocation, milestones, and customer interaction.
• Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, plus strong communication and public speaking skills.

Nice to have

• Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience managing technical contracts and prior technical skills.
• Experience with cyber or big data programs.
• Experience with the Big Data Platform.
