Program Manager - Business Process & Program Excellence

Location: San Jose, California, United States; minimum three days per week onsite

Salary: $100,300–$149,600 per year

What you will do

• Lead complex cross-functional programs from initiation through execution, adoption, and measurable business outcomes.
• Translate ambiguous business challenges into project plans, milestones, deliverables, governance, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Investigate operational issues using business, process, system, and operational data; identify root causes and recommend solutions.
• Document current-state and future-state processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and optimization.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions, decision forums, program reviews, and stakeholder alignment across business and technical teams.
• Support geographically distributed teams and drive accountability across multiple organizations and time zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in program management, business operations, business process management, consulting, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives and working in global, highly matrixed organizations.
• Strong business analysis, problem-solving, root cause analysis, analytical, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Experience improving business processes, developing As-Is and To-Be process flows, and documenting requirements and operating procedures.
• Experience creating project plans, executive status reports, dashboards, RAID logs, and governance frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS, subscriptions, renewals, customer success, sales operations, commerce, or quote-to-cash environments.
• Experience with enterprise business systems, transformation initiatives, UAT, change management, and operational adoption.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma, and business process modeling methodologies.
• Experience with Figma, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Tableau, Power BI, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools.
• PMP, Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma, or business process certifications.
