Operations Data Analyst (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Analyze manufacturing, procurement, inventory, and supply chain data from ERP and business applications.
• Develop and monitor KPIs covering production efficiency, inventory, supplier delivery, material availability, scrap, and operational effectiveness.
• Identify trends, bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities across manufacturing and procurement processes.
• Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, forecasts, and reports using Power BI, Excel, ERP reporting tools, and other BI platforms.
• Support procurement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, cost-reduction, and operational planning initiatives.
• Present findings and recommendations while improving data quality, reporting governance, ERP reporting, and system processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations management, industrial engineering, data analytics, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, procurement, business intelligence, or related analytics.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, and complex data analysis functions.
• Experience creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI or comparable BI tools.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, inventory management, MRP, procurement, supply chain processes, analytical problem-solving, and communication.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with forecasting, predictive analytics, supplier performance management, or strategic sourcing analytics.
• Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, ERP enhancements, testing, or reporting development projects.
• Professional certifications in analytics, supply chain, operations, or continuous improvement.
