Supply Chain Planning Principal Data Analyst

Salary: $164,000–$218,700 per year

What you will do

• Lead complex scenario modeling for long-range planning, annual operating plans, capital investments, manufacturing capacity, demand shifts, and product transitions.
• Build integrated models connecting demand forecasts, manufacturing output, inventory, capital investments, product transitions, and financial outcomes.
• Evaluate supply chain networks, factory utilization, loading strategies, inventory positions, bottlenecks, and supply-demand balances.
• Develop a roadmap for automating scenario modeling, reporting, data integration, dashboards, and decision-support workflows.
• Partner with Supply Chain Planning, Finance, Operations, Commercial, Product Management, IT, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Digital Transformation teams.
• Present concise analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior executives, including the CEO, COO, and CFO, while mentoring analysts and establishing modeling standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in analytics, supply chain planning, operations strategy, finance, consulting, or business intelligence.
• 3+ years leading complex cross-functional initiatives and supporting executive-level decision-making through advanced analytics.
• Experience developing scenario models for strategic planning, capital investment, operations, or supply chain optimization.
• Expert Excel modeling, statistical analysis, forecasting, scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and financial and operational modeling skills.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, data visualization, business intelligence platforms, data architecture, and analytical workflow design.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor, storage, technology hardware, electronics manufacturing, or related industries.
• Experience with Long-Range Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Integrated Business Planning, manufacturing, or internal production operations.
• MBA or an advanced degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Analytics, or Business.
• Experience with Alteryx, Snowflake, or Databricks.
