What you will do
- Collect, input, organize, and maintain operational data in databases, spreadsheets, ERP systems, and production software.
- Support lean manufacturing analysis covering cycle times, line balancing, machine performance, material usage, downtime, and product output.
- Maintain operation logs, production records, maintenance logs, machine status data, and work orders.
- Generate reports and summaries for supervisors, management, and cross-functional teams to support daily operational decisions.
- Analyze trends, discrepancies, inconsistencies, and root causes that may affect operations.
- Work with leads and supervisors to improve data accuracy, timeliness, and integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, engineering, data analytics, business analytics, operations management, manufacturing technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in operational excellence, business analytics, engineering, or a related environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, data management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to identify trends, discrepancies, root causes, and improvement opportunities and translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Infor, business data systems, and reporting or visualization tools.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Microsoft Excel.
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL, data manipulation, database structures, and business intelligence tools.
- Experience with lean methodologies such as Kaizen, standard work, visual management, value stream mapping, root-cause analysis, and structured problem-solving.
- Experience working independently, managing multiple projects, and establishing repeatable processes in an evolving environment.
