GCM Transaction Manager II - Public Finance

Salary: $106,700–$177,900 annual (USD)

What you will do

• Negotiate transaction deal documents and facilitate timely closings.
• Manage transactions where Wilmington Trust serves as trustee and provides complementary products or services.
• Act as the centralized, client-facing deal manager for internal operational and support groups.
• Coordinate deal structures with Sales and support business development initiatives.
• Serve as the internal liaison for deal-closing support groups and resolve escalated client issues.
• Identify and escalate risk-related issues while maintaining internal controls and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of related experience, or 7 years of combined higher education and work experience including at least 3 years of related experience.
• Experience negotiating and closing financial transactions.
• Ability to read and interpret legal documents.
• Understanding of risk, regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements.
• Strong client communication and coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Juris Doctor degree.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Global Capital Markets deal-closing experience.
• Corporate Trust experience and a strong legal background.
