Commodities & Logistics Analyst (Finance)

Location: New York, United States

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 annual base salary plus annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Support relationship management for the Commodities & Logistics corporate loan portfolio and maintain secondary responsibility for existing clients.
• Assist with client relationship maintenance, new business development, prospect tracking, marketing materials, and client or prospect meetings.
• Prepare credit analyses, executive summaries, due diligence materials, credit presentations, and credit department reports.
• Build financial models of company results and forecasts and conduct internal financial analysis.
• Monitor credit files and databases for financial reporting compliance and timely credit reviews.
• Support industry research, white papers, networking activities, and expansion of lending relationships into broader Capital Partners mandates.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience; credit or lending experience is advantageous.
• BS or BA degree with a competitive GPA from a highly selective university.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, presentation, written communication, and oral communication skills.
• Basic accounting knowledge and strong organizational skills.
• Interpersonal maturity, confidence, poise, and the ability to work independently in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
