Analyst, Debt Capital Markets (Commercial Real Estate)

Salary: $105,000–$120,000 base compensation annually

What you will do

• Support the sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and execution of asset-level and portfolio-level debt financings.
• Build financial models and cash flow projections in Excel and Argus to assess asset performance, financing capacity, and transaction economics.
• Analyze rent rolls, operating performance, leasing activity, market fundamentals, development pipelines, and business plans.
• Support CMBS transaction structuring, including collateral pool construction, loan sizing, capital structure analysis, and pooling strategies.
• Evaluate financing alternatives across CMBS lenders, banks, life insurance companies, debt funds, and other institutional lenders.
• Coordinate lender outreach, due diligence, report review, document negotiations, closing activities, and post-closing portfolio reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience in commercial real estate, capital markets, investment banking, lending, asset management, or a related analytical role preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.
• Understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals, debt structures, valuation methodologies, and capital markets.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analyses clearly and concisely.
