Cryptography Cyber Security Engineer (PKI)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States; on-site collaboration is generally preferred.

What you will do

• Onboard systems and services to xPKI platforms and support enterprise PKI solutions and environments.
• Manage certificate lifecycle operations, including issuance, renewal, revocation, inventory, and deployment.
• Analyze certificate usage, trust chains, encryption implementations, and system configurations to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support key management systems, key ceremonies, business continuity, disaster recovery, and cryptography-related operational workstreams.
• Implement automation and tooling for certificate lifecycle management across internal and external services.
• Collaborate with engineering, vulnerability management, security assessment, and business teams on onboarding, remediation, education, and cybersecurity guidance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with PKI systems and services, certificate deployment and automation, ACME, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Certificate Authority administration, ADCS monitoring, certificate management, and Thales HSMs.
• Understanding of PKI machine identity technologies, including SSH, SSL, and TLS.
• Experience supporting cryptographic Key Management Systems and knowledge of cybersecurity principles, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 0–2 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
