Senior Financial Analyst - Client Incentive Operations (Payments)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Foster City, California office; at least 3 days per week in the office.

Salary: $129,200–$206,700 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and applicable sales incentive payments.

What you will do

• Manage accounting and reporting for client incentive agreements in the North America region.
• Review contracts, determine appropriate financial treatment, monitor incentive performance, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
• Redesign financial processes, identify inefficiencies, and automate journal entries and reconciliations.
• Use Power BI and AI-enabled tools to streamline analysis, reporting, and accounting operations.
• Lead or support system and process enhancements, including ORMB improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Compliance teams while applying Lean/Six Sigma methods to improve quality, controls, and turnaround time.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
• 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations preferred, ideally in payments or financial services.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, accounting principles, and financial controls.
• Experience with finance process improvement, automation, or system implementation.
• Proficiency with data analytics and automation tools such as Power BI, Excel, and modern AI tools.
• Ability to manage cross-functional initiatives, communicate effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Big Four consulting experience involving finance transformation, operational excellence, or strategic advisory work.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPA or MBA.
