Paralegal

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 65,000–75,000 annually

What you will do

• Review and interpret vendor, talent, and other business contracts and agreements.
• Manage and maintain new contract templates.
• Draft contracts, forms, submissions, and other legal documents.
• Research and advise on legal matters, new market launches, and legal operations.
• Provide general commercial, legal, and operations support to the business.
• Report directly to In-House Counsel and keep contracts and documents secure and confidential.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Paralegal.
• Strong understanding of business, insurance, contract, and corporate law.
• Familiarity with digital media, information technology, privacy, sales and advertising, and/or defamation law.
• Fluency with legal terminology and strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Inquisitive, proactive approach with sound judgment and the ability to identify liabilities independently.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong attention to detail.
