Analyst, Fraud Controls (Fraud Prevention)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week onsite. Employees must be able to attend the primary work location within two hours’ notice for business-related purposes and be available Monday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to midnight.

What you will do

• Identify, analyze, and investigate client transaction activity for suspected fraud or unusual activity.
• Review customer profiles, transactions, banking history, cheque images, and debit card transaction alerts.
• Take appropriate action to mitigate losses and protect client and bank privacy.
• Collect data, investigate alerts and referrals, recommend resolutions, and accurately update case databases.
• Communicate with clients, branches, partners, and internal account management teams by telephone.

Requirements

• Experience in fraud prevention, loss prevention, or an investigative role.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of PRM, TSYS, AS400 Image, Cardinal Commerce, and COINS/ECIF.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
• Ability to work independently from a secure room or office with a closing door, using a wired internet connection with at least 15 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
• Ability to work collaboratively and provide customer-focused service.
