Location: Hybrid, with an average of 1–3 days per week onsite in San Antonio, TX, US; flexibility is required for schedule changes.

Salary: $112,075–$170,000 per year.

What you will do

• Create, review, and edit authorization documentation in accordance with federal and DoD policy.
• Implement DoD system accreditation processes and support RMF assessments, security planning, risk analysis, and risk management.
• Assess operational risks associated with integrated open-source, GOTS, and COTS software components.
• Use vulnerability management systems, automated security scanning tools, and system accreditation record systems.
• Recommend system-level solutions, guide development teams in meeting security posture requirements, and support trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.
• Design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments while collaborating with government, development, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
• 9+ years of ISSE experience with large multi-tiered programs and a bachelor’s degree in a related field; or 7 years of relevant experience with a master’s degree in a related field; or a high school diploma or equivalent and 13 years of relevant experience.
• Experience implementing DoD system accreditation processes; DIACAP is acceptable and RMF is preferred.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and services, computer architectures, and network topologies.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level II certification, including SSCP, Security+, CCNA-Security, or GSEC.
• Experience with DISA STIGs and SRGs, vulnerability management systems, mitigation and compliance processes, and reviewing automated security scanning results.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicate with diverse audiences, facilitate information exchange, and develop defensible processes where none are prescribed.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 1–3 onsite days per week in San Antonio, TX.
