Location: Hybrid in San Antonio, Texas, United States, with 1–3 days per week onsite. Must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance.

Salary: $112,075–$170,000 per year.

What you will do

• Create, review, and edit authorization documentation in accordance with federal and DoD policy.
• Implement DoD RMF system accreditation processes and support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.
• Assess operational risks associated with open-source, GOTS, and COTS software components.
• Use vulnerability management systems, automated security scanning tools, and accreditation record systems.
• Recommend system-level security solutions and guide development teams in meeting security posture requirements.
• Design and implement secure networking, computing, enclave environments, and trusted relationships between external systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
• 9+ years of ISSE experience with large multi-tiered programs and a related bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience and education combinations.
• Experience implementing DoD system accreditation processes; DIACAP is acceptable and RMF is preferred.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and services, computer architectures, and network topologies.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliance through SSCP, Security+, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification.
• Experience with DISA STIGs and SRGs, vulnerability management, mitigation and compliance processes, and automated security scanning results.

Nice to have

• CISSP-ISSEP certification.
