Information Systems Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully onsite five days per week in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. U.S. citizenship and a current Secret Clearance or higher are required.

What you will do

• Provide cybersecurity and information assurance support for a DoD IT Operations Division and systems supporting ship and submarine technology.
• Develop, maintain, and track Risk Management Framework system security plans and authorization documentation.
• Execute RMF processes supporting IATT, AO approval, ATO, and DATO activities.
• Identify, tailor, implement, and assess security controls, STIGs, and SRGs.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, remediation, patching, and security configuration updates using tools such as ACAS, SCC, and Evaluate STIG.
• Support PPSM, security policies and procedures, audits, configuration documentation, and compliance across Windows servers and Cisco networking hardware.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Current Secret Clearance or higher required.
• Full onsite work in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, five days per week.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field.
• At least seven years of professional experience capturing and refining information security operational requirements and executing security controls.
• At least one of the following certifications: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or Associate, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP.

Nice to have

• Experience with ACAS, SCC, and other cybersecurity assessment tools.
• Experience implementing and maintaining DoD RMF processes.
• Strong knowledge of STIG, SRG, and related security protocols.
