Information System Security Officer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Arlington, Virginia, with occasional local trips to Fairfax, Virginia

Salary: $120,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Help lead Assessment and Authorization, Configuration Management, Continuous Monitoring, and Incident Response activities.
• Manage and sustain customer projects in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) toolset.
• Implement, monitor, and manage cybersecurity risk across production, test, and development environments.
• Use ACAS, ESS/HBSS, and related tools to monitor, detect, and analyze vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate security compliance activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical support to team members and clients.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen and work onsite in Arlington, Virginia.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of cybersecurity experience; the position is mid-level and typically requires three to five years of experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Experience with eMASS, ACAS, ESS/HBSS, DoD RMF, DCSA DAAG, IAVM alerts, and STIGs.
• Active Security+ certification or an equivalent certification satisfying DoD 8140 requirements, with the ability to obtain CISSP, CISM, CASP+ CE, CAP, GSLC, or CCISO.

Nice to have

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Familiarity with SCAP.
• Experience with Citrix Workspace and networking, Microsoft networking products, Fortinet and Cisco firewalls and switches, and Nutanix Acropolis.
• Demonstrated continuous learning and self-improvement.
