Product Owner (Hybrid) - 29306

Location: Hybrid in San Antonio, Texas, with customer-site work required 2–3 days per week; travel up to 25% may be required, including CONUS and OCONUS travel.

Salary: $115,716–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with targeted government customers, with an emphasis on U.S. Air Force operations.
• Lead analytics and application development initiatives and integrate production capabilities into customer operations.
• Gather software requirements, create development roadmaps, troubleshoot platform issues, and support users of the Air Force Big Data Platform.
• Coordinate with development and engineering teams to align DevSecOps delivery timelines with customer targets.
• Provide project status updates, customer engagement assessments, operational plans, and adoption strategies to company leadership.
• Support business development activities, including opportunity identification, proposals, market responses, and partner networks.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance are required.
• At least 9 years of experience in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a bachelor's degree; equivalent pathways include 7 years with a master's degree or 13 years with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior government or military experience with MARFORCYBER, DCSA, DISA, Army Cyber, U.S. Cyber Command, AFCYBER, or 10th Fleet/Navy Cyber.
• Experience managing complex technical projects or programs and supporting customer adoption, requirements, and business development activities.
• Strong communication, interviewing, organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak in public forums.
• Ability to work on the customer site in San Antonio 2–3 days per week and travel up to 25%, sometimes on short notice.

Nice to have

• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certifications, as required by the customer.
• Experience with software engineering, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, Amazon S3, big data platforms, or data lake architectures.
• Technical background in system requirements, solution design, and estimating.
