Maintenance Engineer (Food Processing)

Location: Glinde, Germany; based in the midwestern part of Germany. Customer-site travel is required, mostly in Germany and occasionally in Switzerland and Austria, with travel up to 90% of the time.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot food processing and packaging equipment at customer sites.
• Travel to customer facilities across Germany and occasionally Switzerland and Austria.
• Use hirify.global Maintenance System tools to report and document service activities.
• Interpret technical documentation and follow global maintenance procedures.
• Represent hirify.global professionally and contribute ideas to improve customer operations and service delivery.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and promote compliance with OHS and hirify.global safety regulations.

Requirements

• Qualified technical education, such as Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, or a similar qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in maintenance or installation work.
• Advanced German language skills and basic English skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time and work at customer sites.
• Customer-focused, proactive, safety-first approach with a willingness to develop technical skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ice cream processing techniques and technology.
• Knowledge of dairy technology.
